A day out for the curious.

Presented by Word of Warning, STUN + Z-arts

Saturday 30 September. Pay What You Decide

Manchester’s micro-marathon of the bizarre + the beautiful comes of age as our eighteenth day-long performance takeover fills Z-arts to bursting point…

From noon dip in and out of ongoing performances, installations + limited capacity experiences, and from 5pm join us for a series of short sit-down shows in this non-stop performance takeover; see our gallery of 2017 artists.
Your chance to sample the different — then pay what you decide!

Body positivity. Feminism. Ed Sheeran.
Elastic futures and hands on immersion.
Voyeur and object, the journey of your soul.
Jelly, ice cream, tutus and desperation.
Missed opportunities, violence of entertainment.
Something is amiss, it smells like fish.

What people have said about Emergency

Great to have such exciting off beat talent.
I am amazed they manage so many shows in a day…
…loved diversity of work on show.
Really important event for NW artists — safe space to experiment.
Performances are both rewarding in their own right, and also offer a glimpse into where theatre might go in our more interactive and interconnected world.
